My husband and I had been looking to move from within the Reidsville City Limits to out in the county, and had been looking on line and every month in the Rockingham Real Estate book. We happened to find 125 Woodlyn was for sale. I approached Rose and asked her who I needed to contact about the house. When she asked who was interested, I told her and Rob and I were. Rose didn't waste any time. She knew that with Rob's crazy work schedule at the Reidsville Police Department, and my working out of town in Greensboro, time was very precious to us. She got us in to look at the house the next day!
Rob and I knew we loved the house, but had many questions. Rose again arranged for us to come and have an extended viewing of the home. She answered our questions, and if there was something she didn't know, she took notes and got back to us the very next day.
Buying a home can be overwhelming, but Rose was there to answer our questions, help us arrange all the appointments (appraisal, inspection, etc), and sometimes just to hold our hands. Rose explained the whole process to us, step by step, and was genuinely concerned that we understood each and every undertaking as it transpired.
There were times that we were a little confused, because we had a dual agency agreement, and I understand that but Rose (and CENTURY 21 The Knowles Team) in a precarious situation at times. Rose handled those situations with integrity, and always came back with a smile.
My husband knew Rose through theatre years ago, and I knew her from my daughters' school, and knew that she held a good reputation in the community. Rob and I got to know Rose over the several weeks from the showing of the house to the closing, and are blessed to count her now among our friends.
Rose's dedication to her profession is to be commended. Her knowledge of the real estate market, home values, mortgages, etc. we invaluable. Her concern didn't stop at the closing, as she checked in with us on occasion after the purchase "just to see how we were doing."
